Four Vintage 1940's COCA-COLA Our America - TRANSPORTATION Educational Posters

This is a set of four different "Our America" teaching aid posters produced by the Coca Cola Bottling Company in the 1940's as a way to teach children about the workings of America's industry. There were a total of eleven four-poster sets produced.  Each poster was mailed to participating schools, folded in envelopes.  This group includes the four posters produced for the "Transportation" set.  Each poster measures 32" x 22" when unfolded.   Since they were folded for mailing all posters have folding crease lines.  All posters are in fair used condition. There are a few splits at the folds, wear to edges and corner bumps and tears, tack holes, there is also some old tape wear they had hung the posters or tried to repair, and the backs of the posters show some rubbing and soiling.  I have done my best to capture any damage through photographs.  The front colored areas of these posters are still bright.
Also included is the teaching instruction manual, as well as the additional 16" x 11" Transportation Lithograph.  There is some wear and water damage to the lithograph as photographed with push pin holes and creasing.  The manual is intact and the binding is tight.  Cards that give information on the back about types of transportation on the backside.  A very unique complete set!
Item(s) comes as-is. We understand that many collectors prefer to do their own cleaning, and that improper cleaning can devalue items. For this reason we only gently wiped this/these item(s) down and have left the cleaning to the buyer.
We are experienced shippers and will take care to package your items carefully for their journey to you!
All of our items come from private collections and estate buyouts. We generally have no information on the background of provenance of items. Items are shipped with a quick dusting and may need a wash or further wipe down upon arrival.
