    Description

    1970s-1980s unposted chrome postcard entitled ", Watch Hill, R. I.".
    Watch Hill is an upper class community in the southwestern section of Westerly, RI. This house is on Foster Cove Road.
    The following information was taken from the Department of the Interior Registry of Historic Places in Watch Hill, RI.
    Edgewater, now Gulnare 1913 : A 2½-story, flank-jerkin-head- roof, English cottage-style dwelling - It has a central column-framed, recessed entrance; bay windows, deep eaves that curl up over the second story windows, eyebrow dormers , a massive stone end chimney, and a recessed, stone-post rear porch. The house was built for C. Peyton Russell of Washington, DC.
